CSGSA Lockers are FREE for use for students in the CS department.

Each Locker may be rented for an academic year, and renewed at the beginning of Fall each year.

These lockers look small from the outside, but go pretty deep in - a winter coat will fit in one! try it!

You can rent multiple lockers, if desired

Special Offer: get a double size locker on request for $5 (all other conditions stay same)

 offer applies only to lockers outside the lounge.

[edit] Our Locker Policy is as follows:

Lockers will be provided on a first-come first-served basis. The lockers are free for use, with the completion of an emailed contract. The contract guarantees that you will empty the locker by the last week of the academic year (Aug 27th) and remove personal locks, if any. The lockers are not available for use during the last day of the term, which is when clean-up and re-assignment of lockers will be done.

With the exception of the locker rental fees, all other policies follow those of the U of M locker rental policies:

- The loss or damage of items placed in the locker is not the responsibility of the University or its agents under any conditions.

- The CSGSA is not responsible for any property stored in the locker.

- Only current students, faculty, or staff can use these lockers.

- You MUST stop using the locker on the last day of the year for which the locker was rented, or renew the locker before-hand. If this is not done, personal locks will be cut and items held in storage for 30 days at the start of the Fall semester. Items may be reclaimed by paying a $5 fine. Items not reclaimed within 30 days will be thrown away.

Procedure for renting a locker:

Choose a locker from the lockers in the CS Graduate Student Lounge, or from the hallway outside the lounge. You need to bring your own lock and key for the locker.

Send an email to csgsa-lockers@cs.umn.edu providing the locker number, your name and student ID number, and the following statement:

I have read and agree to the locker policy terms for renting a CSGSA locker.

You should receive an email confirmation of your rental within a week.

Please note: There are 3 sets of lockers with the same numbering scheme, so please provide which set is desired in your email, as below:

- To the left of the Grad Lounge (set L)

  Available: 1, 3-6, 8-12, 14-16, 19,20

- To the right of the Grad Lounge (set R)

  Available: 1,2,4,5,6,8, 11-24,

- Inside the Grad Lounge (set I).

  Available: 1-4, 6-9, 11,12, and 17.
