  • There weren't very many important things -Andy
  • Our counsel is engineering and math.
    • The biggest one
  • We need a student to serve on:
    • The course committee
      • Approves changes to courses (name, number and listing)
      • You will likely have to meet to do things
      • Contact Bruce Wollenberg.
    • Academic grievance committee
      • You don't do anything unless something happens
      • Contact Vicki Field
  • Some people didn't make it even though they said they would come
    • That is lame

  • Discussion about wither the faculty should have pointless meetings
  • Trying to get more research funding
    • Spent a half an hour presenting ways people could get grants - Katie
  • If the dept approaches you asking you to write a letter so that a Prof can get an award, you should do it.

    • Voted "yes" to the state paying more
  • People get hit by the light rail

  • It will be about systems issues
  • You get to talk about how the systems staff fails you.
  • You get to see the face of the systems staff when you are not having problems -Ried

    • A student would like tutoring above and beyond TA's ability.
    • $10 an hour (or negotiable).
