Andy Exley is a Graduate Student in Computer Science at the University of Minnesota. He has been voted "the awesomest grad student" by the CSGSA. That last link should be a footnote, but he is too lazy to install MediaWiki extensions, preferring to gripe and complain about their absence.

He was elected president of the CSGSA in Spring 2006 and assumed office in September 2006. Interestingly, he was the only officer that year not to be elected unanimously, despite having no official opposition in the election.

In 2007, he ran for CSGSA Vice President on a platform of electing Kelly Cannon as CSGSA Vice President. His successful campaigning resulted in a landslide in Kelly's favor.

He can be found going on grueling punishment trips with Reid Priedhorsky or, rarely, working on his thesis in the Natural Language Processing lab.

In a side note, this page used to be the 2nd google hit for "Andy Exley" (right after Andy's CS page,) but then someone thought it would be best to degooglify this Wiki, making Andy sad.
